Spanner Pro is a monthly or yearly subscription through the App Store or Google Play. New subscriptions may include a 14-day free trial when you are eligible in the store. It renews until you cancel in your store account. The store shows the final price before you pay, including UK VAT. Anything you have already raised stays readable if you stop paying.
In Australia and New Zealand, Spanner Pro is A$22 a month or A$189 a year (NZ$28 a month or NZ$239 a year), and Spanner handles GST. The store shows the final price before you pay.
Is Tradify overkill if it’s just me?
Often. Tradify is built for trade businesses and charges per user. Spanner is jobs, quotes and invoices on the phone for the sole trader — £12 a month, no hidden costs. We don’t do staff logins, accounting sync or certificates. If you need those, they’re the better fit. If you don’t, you shouldn’t pay for them.

No. It’s for you on your own — one price. No job packs either. Not for a firm with staff.
Do I pay VAT?
The App Store and Google Play show the final price for your region before you confirm. In the UK that includes VAT; in Australia and New Zealand it includes GST.
Does it work in Australia and New Zealand?
Yes. Spanner handles GST, with your ABN (Australia) or GST number (New Zealand) on the invoice. It is on the App Store and Google Play in the UK, Australia and New Zealand.
